"Country Chris" was born on March 23rd, 1972 to Barbara and Lemuel Pearsall. Country seemed to have the "Grandma colic",(so to speak) so he stayed with his grandparents, Haywood and Alma Boone, mostly til age of 6. Haywood noticed somthing early, that Chris would hit his rattler on one side of his crib, and foot on the other side. This was at age one, and he was actually keeping a rhythm. The grandparents, being into music themselves, could see a drummer on the rise, so grandma broke out the old pots and pans for him to learn on. And by age 4, it was time to move up to the real thing, so off to Sears and Robuck they went to get Country his first set of drums.
Just like with Rich on the guitar, Grandpa Boone spent lots of time with Chris playing christian music and having a good ole' time. By the age of 12 he was playing with Rich and this was the beginning of the "Rockin Rye Band". Chris loved singing the country songs, so it was only time before he was known as "Country Chris". They played by themselves until a full band was formed. At age 15, he had hit the club scene playing where and when ever he could.
In 1988, the band won it's first of many "Battle of the Bands" contest, beating out 16 other bands from all over N.C., giving Country and the band it's first studio recorded music session at G105 F.M. studios in Durham, N.C. He learned then that the brothers "original music" would be the key.
At age 19, Chris grew an intrest to the guitar and Steve was having certain intrest of his own, the drums. So, Chris learned how to play, but you have to realize that Country is a "right-handed" drummer and is learning guitar "left-handed", showing Chris to be very ambidextrous. By age 23, if you didn't know any better, you would have thought the guitar was Country's main instrument. He played it like he had been doing it all his life.
Now with all the brothers playing at this time, using their God given talents, they started looking ahead and decided that one more change was needed, the bands name. And what better name than the one all 3 had in common, The Pearsall Brothers Band.
Chris and his brothers have played many clubs and venues in N.C., have opened for Toby Keith and Confederate Railroad, they have their songs played regularly on the radio, played in Covington G.A. for the "Dukes of Hazzard " convention in 1999, and released their CD "Where's the Country" in 2000.
In 1997, he married the love of his life, Sandy Thompson, and they reside in Garner, N.C.. Chris says "Sandy is my best friend and a true inspiration".
In closing, Country would like to thank God for his musical talents, to say "I LOVE YOU" to his grandparents Haywood and Alma who watch over him from heaven, to his loving wife Sandy, to his mom and dad who have supported him through the years, to his  brothers and thank you to all his brothers on the road.

I LOVE YOU ALL !!
